Is it too early to start a "Swing your dick if your team is 6-0" thread?
Funny...seriously you will be doing this at 10-0, 11-0, 12-0, 13-0, 14-0, 15-0 and 16-0. I don't see any team on the Pats schedule that will beat them. Yeah maybe the Chiefs but they need to improve their defense.

Respect is not in his vocab... Neither does he get it in return... Respect is earned... Must be lonely...

Nah, I'm just jumping on @Rock Strongo 's shtick. He'll be in tomorrow to officially get it going.

Troy Aikman with old man football takes is hardly new- and is to be ignored.

Kind of like how most people respond to Booger McFarland every MNF.

Yeah... he’s only in the HOF... what does he know.

I know right?

Otherwise it may have ended in a tie with the magnificent running by the 42 yo GOAT.

What this article told me is that Brady the GOAT is nothing like Rodgers the AGOAT. Brady takes blame and still finds a way to win.

Thanks for posting it:thumb:

Aaron Rodgers vows Packers' offense will improve after 'ugly' win

CHICAGO – When it was over, the final seconds ticking off on a win very few outside Green Bay expected, Aaron Rodgers approached new coach Matt LaFleur with the game ball and words that didn’t sound like victory.

“I told him,” Rodgers said, “I’m going to be a lot better moving forward.”

Imagine this: The Green Bay Packers won their 2019 opener Thursday night in the Chicago Bears’ backyard not because of their quarterback, but in spite of him. Not because of an offense that has carried this franchise for years, but largely without it. They won 10-3 with a two-time MVP quarterback vowing to be better.

On this night, it did not matter. Rodgers could struggle, the offense could get away with being sluggish, because the Packers defense was so dominant. None of it took the shine off the Packers’ 1-0 record.

No I and everyone outside of GB were more likely thinking along these lines:

Some people around the Packers reportedly find Aaron Rodgers divisive and believe his ruthless handling of relationships has hurt the team

And as much as folks want to complain that the Patriots are getting preferential treatment (in this scenario) that isn't the case here.
The ref's ego's and the NFL realized this was a stupid idea and want to kill it in the only way possible by making it pointless to lose a timeout.

Also most cases, like this one, really had zero outcome on the game.

It is a very stupid idea indeed but there have been plenty of calls that should have been reversed. That is why this rule is so dumb, it's a judgement call and everything looks like PI in slow mo.

The Patriots aren't that good.

Waiting for them to play a real team.

Most teams

IMO more than half of the league would be 5-1 if they had their schedule to open the season.

That 4 game stretch after their bye week will tell me a lot about this team.

It is just amazing how weak the Patriots schedule is. Basically they have a 5 week stretch of games against decent teams and that's it.

The Patriots are a very good team but they will eventually play some tougher teams that won't cough up the ball 4 or 5 times.
