Panda was a late scratch....fucking incredible. We might score NEGATIVE runs tonight....No Astro with any significant experience vs. Song; DeRo and Ross with ownage on Wandy.

Wandy.

Makes me fucking giggle just typing it.

Fuck it; -1 to -3 Good guys.

I thought yesterday's lineup was the worst of the year, but Bochy just topped it.

I hope Belt is learning his lesson.

How DARE him

1) DESTROY the minors
2) Get rated as the #3 1B prospect in all of baseball
3) Then, as if the above were not enough, kid has the BALLS to hit 2 HRs in one game.

I have had with this kid.

DFA his ass.

So Pablo has shoulder problems now? Whiteside probably punched him or something.

What they are doing with Belt is SORELY testing my general rule regarding the managers (Bochy and Sabean) knowing way way more than I do. They do, there's no doubt...but the Belt situation is the closest thing I have to evidence against.

Just for comparison, I think the Braves' Freddie Freeman is comparable to Belt. Both young lefty first basemen. But Freeman has been a fixture all season, getting 450 AB's, while Belt has less than 100. Freeman's splits are .257 vs LHP and .310 vs. rhp. Belt is .300 vs lfp and .183 vs. rhp.

The point is, we will never know whether Belt can consistently hit if he continues to sit on the freaking bench, watching the likes of RoRo, DeRosa, Huff, etc. hack their way into historical ineptitude.

Play him! :frusty:

Freeman (450 AB's)

.287 57 R 131 H 61 RBI 28 2b 0 3b 16 HR 41 BB 123 K 4 SB 3 CS

Belt (projected 455 AB's)

.209 55 R 85 H 45 RBI 15 2b 0 3b 20 HR 65 BB 125 K 10 SB 0 CS

And I would BET that Belt, given regular PT, would hit for higher average and more doubles than this.

Play him, d@mmit!

WTF no Belt?

This is starting to really irritate me. Belt HAS to be in the lineup!

Man, 7 pitches in the top of the first. This is going to be a pitcher's game.
