And how many have we hit on the roadie?
Without looking up, 2. Bum and Byrd.... in the same game.
And how many have we hit on the roadie?
Just not seeing the need for EA's anemic bat.
Can we settle on doubles? And how many have we hit on the roadie?
Nope, they only stole 3 bases - Belt, Aoki and Lollis. Can we settle on doubles?
Crawford - 3
Blanco - 1
Belt - 1
Byrd - 1
Aoki - 1
And the non-Crawfords were all in one game. I'd wager that the team stole more bases than get extra base hits on this trip.
Oh yeah, one non-pitcher hit a home run in this road trip.
Pi-rats are a very good team.
On this trip? I thought Duffy had a few?Nope, they only stole 3 bases - Belt, Aoki and Lollis.

That is weird. So they stole at least 6 bases on the road trip. That's pretty close to the amount of extra base hits (9 vs 6).Odd. I know I saw Duffy steal, I think BB reference just missed the steals categories.

It depends upon the team and the pitcher. Tonight, you KNOW that 3 runs is pretty insurmountable by a team with Pence and Panik out, and Posey sucking. Further, you also KNOW the odds of Vogey being solid the rest of the way are slim. So, not only would the Giants need to score 4 tonight (unlikley), they'd need to shut the Pirates out the rest of the way (very unlikely). Add it together, and you've got basically a game that's over.
Even Fangraphs has us at a <10% chance to win. How you enjoy futilely watching for that 1 in 10 shot is beyond me. Life is waaaaaay too short for bad baseball.
