The thing about it is, that Shanny hasn't set a precedent for this type of hit yet. He's sort of set one for head targeted hits, he's made one for boarding, but not for this type of hit...so I could see him going anywhere with it. It'd be best for him to suspend him a game at least, because he needs to set the precedent, but I don't think it'll happen personally. Just a gut feeling.

NFL on NBC, and VS...well, they don't do much of anything on weekends yet. I hope that changes soon and we get a daily game on VS. Just makes sense.

Yeah...Matt Cooke is an example of a guy cleaning up his act and it paying off for the most part. He still hits hard, but is smart about it, and has done fairly well on offense this season.

Salo has thrown about 4 bodychecks in his career.
mushmouth knew exactly what he was doing. there is absolutely no question about that.

over shadowed by everything is that Corey Schneider had a pretty amazing game in his hometown. Congrats Corey

potential showcase game, and he showed up bigtime.
