Madison Bumgarner :D
1st rounder.

(I knew someone would guess him, thus the 5th rounder clue)

And this player's save was arguably bigger than Bum's game 7 save...

A joke, for sure. He hasn't won any gold gloves either. He just have my vote for "biggest save" :thumb:

Gonna have to think harder about this one though. The first real guess that came to mind was Randy Johnson in the 2001 World Series, but they won that in a walk off. More known for one of the biggest blown saves. Hmm..

Drafted in the 5th round.
Has zero career saves.
Has, arguably, the biggest save in World Series history.
6-time GG winner.

Thinking outside the box here. Bobby Richardson, his game saving catch on Willie McCovey? (Did the gold glove exist then?)

Good guess. You are on the right path.

Richardson was not drafted at all, and only had 5 GGs.

I like my clue on this one, so I will not bail on it like I did with Nokes (that one was too obscure).

This player has (to my knowledge) never pitched.

Once you know who I am getting at, you will know EXACTLY what I mean with the clue...

A 3rd round pick in 1975.
He was voted a distant third place in ROY behind Bob Horner.
Among the outfielders that had to run down the fly balls he gave up were Dave Parker, Kevin Mitchell and a certain ex-Phillie GM.
His hitting was downright primitive.
