This is a MUST win. If the Flyers don't beat the Sabres, and not just eek out a win, but beat in all three zones...that could well the the final straw for Hexy to blow things up.

I look for G and Jake to have big games. I would also expect to see Zepp back in net.

I thought for minute the Sabres were going to tie this thing up again. I wasn't going to watch anymore if they did.

It galls me to say that Ted Nolan had a scheme for playing the Flyers...but he did.

Since the Sabres had the last change he could put his best/most dangerous scoring lines against the G line. Force the Flyers other three lines to win the game. It nearly worked. If the Sabre's had a decent PK they Flyers would have been in deep deep trouble.

who knows anymore...the new NHL rule is make your best player the captain. doesnt necessarily translate to leadership. all things considered my favorite captain in the last 10 years was jason smith.
