They used him once and then they brought him in to block.

Play calling with four minutes to go left a lot to be desired. Why was BOB so intent on try to get the ball to Suster at the end of the game? He missed two out of three. On both of his misses, Pop was open on one and Bourne was open running straight across the meadow all by himself.
Or was Mac looking to prevent an third INT???

They won 15-10. Wasn't as pretty as most of us would like, but it's a win none the less.

That's two safeties in a row. Unless I'm mistaken, the call was against the lineman on the ground holding Wise with his feet while both were on the ground. Wilson was in the end zone when it happened.

It was adequate well above 100+ between the 2 runners. Have to build on that.

I watched the highlights seems to me again, when we get near the opponents 30 we fall apart, this team has to improve when we cross the 50. And we could not convert on 3rd down when it was time to put the game away. This offense has to improve! The defense is going to ware down over the course of the year if we cannot sustain drives and come away with TDs.

Edit: Looked it up. Bill traded Pick #120 from Pittsburgh to the Jets along with Pick # 184 to move up 8 places and took Kicker Chad Ryland.

Pick #14 for both Gonzalez and Ryland is Genius.

To be honest, they started real sloppy the first two weeks and almost made up for it at the end against the Eagles and Dolphins.


But yes. Good football for 60 minutes rather than start sloppy and try for the come from behind or start strong and get sloppy at the end.
