Yeah weather is a funny thing, but in Buffalo this time of year you can generally rely on snow.

I read the info and make my own prediction.
From Accuweather it will be 3 degrees in the evening, 85% humidity and 1 degree dewpoint.
The low for the day is 2 degrees, that close to the dewpoint will not take much of a shift to get snow.
85% humidity will be very interesting if we get to 1 degree.
It will change to more or less likely as we get closer to Saturday. 4 days out is a long time when you are talking 1 degree difference

The lake has such a severe effect on the wether that trying to predict the weather any more than a couple days is like reading someone's palm.

I can agree with that, I am not a fan of big box stores, but being in the middle of a home remodel they do have advantages

I can agree with that, I am not a fan of big box stores, but being in the middle of a home remodel they do have advantages

The problem with the "locals" is they participate in the scams of grocery store marketing including loss leaders, strategic placement of food throughout the store (from placing expensive "convenience foods" in convenient placing to spreading staples through the entire store to force eyes to non staple items) and marking up products (like toothpaste or even milk) because they know you are unlikely to go to another store for a couple of items. Costco has it own marketing strategy, but they do not hide it and they tend to give me what I want far more than the locals... Flat out, I prefer the products.

I do the weekly shopping and usually drop into Aldi, then Costco and buy specific items (yes, including some healthier options like organics a grass fed meat), and occasionally Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. It takes a bit of time but I end up with better food for far less cost.

I'll get off my soap box now.
