I complained all season about the lack of fundamentals and discipline. I think we saw more of it tonight. If Wash stays, he must do something about it or he will continue coming up short. You just can't keep helping your opposition.

A sad truth in my life is that I was so happy to find that you were all still here after I was off for a month moving to the east coast. Can't wait for our off season thread to really get going as it should be an extremely interesting one. Ya'll are awesome.

If JD does the right thing, wash won't be. The only thing that might save him is he's in the last year of his contract.

I must be spoiled because this was not ok with me. 91 wins is a good season, but not when we had the division lead heading into Sept, and finished 5 back. JD better spend some money this off season and upgrade this line-up. With Pence off the market it's all about Stanton, and Beltran. McCann if he doesn't re-sign, and Nelly at the DH.

JD will do the best he can, but he doesn't need to go the route the Angels have. I'm not satisfied either and removing wash is step 1 IMO.

I wasn't suggesting that. Beltran won't take a huge amount, and Stanton is worth a lot of prospects. McCann would cost a fortune, but I also believe he's worth it. I think it's time to move on from Wash as well. I don't think he's going anywhere though.
