Well a 3 year offer is worse than the token offer they made to Robbie Cano, they absolutely must know the talks don’t even begin until they get to 4 years. What a massive gaffe this will be, I hope they realize how vitally important this guy is to this team

I hope they don't. Screw the Yankees!! .

But I fully expect the Yankees to let DJ test the waters then the last second swoop in a get him.

Springer goes to Mets as does Bauer.

Red Sox pick up a 45 year old just coming off TJ surgery who's been out of the league 4 years

By all accounts only the Mets and Jays are willing to spend this offseason

so seems those teams are playing a game of chicken with the big ticket guys, knowing there is no Yankees/Angels/Dodgers/Red Sox/Padres, that will sneak in and steal these guys

makes it a real tricky market

why would I offer 31 year old George Springer a 6/7 year deal for the neighborhood of $200 mill, if no one else is even kicking the tires?

The Angels need to pick up some pitching. They are wasting Mike Trout's best years.

He has been an up and down pitcher. When he's on, few are better. When he's off, few are worse.

Treinen staying put in LA, signed for $17.5M over 2 years. Also comes with an $8M club option or a $1.5M buyout for 2023.

Tigers signed Robbie Grossman to a 2 yr/$10M deal.

Nothing sickens me more than the Yankees sitting back waiting for the Dodgers or Mets to sign Lemehiue with their already prepared statement how they “really wanted to sign DJ, best efforts, bla bla bla”

I will finally throw in the towel on this franchise
Crying about losing the most money this past season, totally true

but they also made the most money for the fucking 100 years prior

Nope signed the first ever black women to coaching position that alone is the improvement the team needed they are now done for the off-season.

Hadn't heard about that. Thanks for that..

Makes up for being the last franchise to integrate African Americans into the game

It is a good thing but damn they have done nothing to improve the personnel on the field especially the putrid pitching.

Oh it is a very good thing for sure... Hopefully more to come in that regard!

Schwarber signs a 1 year deal with the Nationals. Kind of assumed he'd go AL.

eh, I think Schwarber's defense gets a bad rap from the 2015 NLCS. I don't think he's good, but I think he's very playable and he has a very good arm. -12 DRS and a 5.3 UZR/150 over his career is far from a disaster. 2018-19 Schwarber is a decent player and I think he'll bounce back from last year (.219 BABIP is awfully low, even for a guy like him).

Liam Hendriks to White Sox for 3 yr/$54M. For a reliever that's insane.
