That's pretty odd. I was trying to think of who was on the roster between 2008-2010 and then I remember we traded for Marion as well as Jermaine O'Neal's bloated contract.

Yup in the article I read these guys were the highest paid players during Wade 11 years with the Heat

Eddie Jones
Shaq
Marion
JO
Bosh/Lebron
Bosh

When Napier gets on the regular roster with better players around him, he will be okay. The kid is a winner. He is going to be special. We got a steal when we got him.

As someone already pointed out, the ROY last season stunk it up in summer league, then made his presence felt vs the Heat on opening night(Michael-Carter-Williams) not saying Napier will be ROY but will be just as good.

And love the response Ira gave the guy that claimed he never answers questions. Its sad the clowns that write to him and he responds to.

Going back to Napier, I like a few of the guys on our summer league squad, but outside of Hamilton and Ennis, most are far from cracking an NBA roster anywhere - the guy doesnt have much around him and is being asked to carry the load, thats why you see a lot of negative stats on his part but he will improve once he gets together with the regular guys.

Again, I dont know that he will be ROY, but he will be an All-Star weekend participant in the Rookie-Challenge Game.

Oh and Lance Stephenson to the Hornets?

Pacers getting weaker and becoming less of a threat to the Heat in the East?

Any word on Hibbert? Werent they considering moving him?

If either he or D-West is gone, the Pacers are done IMO in the east as far as competing as a top team in the east

Mike had a nice come back season last season, but I think he will go back to the banged up old MM again that wont help Queen James as much as he thought.

Lost in the shuffle: Does little Julia Dale get brought back this season for national anthems or do we go in a different direction there as well?

Had to ask

How? People act like Miller was some god. He was a one dimensional spot up shooter just as battier, lewis, allen, and others

When it happened it was clear that it bothered Lebron. he made comments about it all season long. I really think it played a big factor in him leaving. Im not saying he wouldnt have left anyhow, because he clearly is a man of no character, he probably was already mentally gone, but it clearly bothered him. And the way Miller shot last season, was better then what we got from any of our spot up shooters. He would have greatly helped in the Finals.

Miller would have made the NBA finals a little more respectable but we still lose 4-1. The Spurs were a juggernaut that clicked at the right time. You are not beating a team that shoots over 85% during key stretches of 2 NBA finals and who is really deep.

LeBron been in the league for how many years? He should understand that it's a business. Players come and go all the time. Miller wasn't worth his contract here because he was never healthy.

He wouldn't have helped in the finals. As I keep mentioning we lost the finals because of poor defense.....offense had nothing to do with it.

The only 2 games our offense was dreadful was games 4 & 5. When you score 95 & 92 in the finals that should be good enough to have you in a close game.

In the spurs 4 wins they scored 104 or more and shot nearly 60 percent in 3 of their 4 wins.

That's not entirely true. Miller is a pretty good ball handler too. He became one dimensional on the Heat because he was so injured all the time. It is a nice pick-up for the Cavs. 2 time champion who has shown up big in the Finals before. I don't think they are a lot better because of him, but they are better.

The Pacers are solid. Paul George is special. But losing lance does hurt them. As both teams are presently constructed.. I expect the Heat and Pacers would be a 6 or 7 game series. Which is saying a lot for Miami considering the Pacers were in the ECF the last two years.
