Would love to see the details of that Ennis deal when available
I guess we're out of the Boozer sweepstakes as Charlotte & Atlanta are likely to bid on him
Atlanta is pretty solid. They will be good with all their players back. Boozer does not have the option of signing for any team or so I thought. He goes to waiver and the highest bidder with cap space. If he clears, which is very doubtful then free to sign. We are done other than vets at minimum.....If his priority is money, I guess a move to either of those teams is expected - but, if he wants a shot at winning a title, Miami seems to be his best bet compared to those two
“Signing Luol Deng is one of the most important free agent signings that we have ever had in the history of the franchise." - Pat Riley
I have seen starting lineup projections of which have Deng starting as well as Wade - do you guys think we have viable fall back plans currently on the roster for those guys, or is that yet to be addressed/determined?
Do you think Wade will/should take a lesser role and come off the bench instead. I think we all expect better things from Wade, but I think it will be much better at this point doing so off the bench.
The way the Heat are presently constructed, we essentially traded LeBron James for Luol Deng and have upgraded at the role positions. McRoberts and Granger should bring more to the table than Shane Battier and Ray Allen did. We can get to the ECF with this team if things fall into place.
We still have one more move to make if we are to get out of the East. Monroe.. Boozer.. something.
top 5 for sure..LOL.
Good point, but D-Wade will have to improve from last season. I really think this could be a championship caliber team with a close to 2011 level D-Wade.
Also, I wonder how much better we'll be in the rebounding department.
