The Defense wasn't really the big issue last year for them. Yeah they were young and had some issues early on but they actually started looking pretty good by the end. That offense though is in utter chaos with Bortles just falling apart.

Yeah and the run game has been pretty weak. I'd really like to see Yeldon explode for them as I was a huge fan of his, just not sure he has the supporting cast on O to do so. Hurns and Robinson do their thing at WR, but Bortles is really bad at reading defenses.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jacksonville is a landing spot for Jay Cutler... Bortles should have a small leash this year... If he doesn't improve Jags will once again be looking for a young QB. I see flashes of Bortles but then he takes 2 or 3 steps back.

yeah 2 seasons ago I thought he was really starting to emerge as that next good young QB. I actually had Jacksonville as a dark horse to make the playoffs this last year but his regression just killed any chance of that.

I work with a big Jags fan and he explained that last year Bortles got complacent with his skill set and skipped some QB training sessions that really killed his mechanics. He said Bortles was attending them this Off-season so maybe we will see the Bortles we saw 2 years ago.
