As Chris Mortensen has reported the Broncos are indeed still trying to get an agreement with Denver native Calais Campbell. And their feeling is a high intensity pursuit of Campbell is in keeping to John Elway's vow after the past season to try to keep the team's defense at an elite level. And it also shows it is Campbell who just might be the Broncos' top target in free agency.
