Randle is still a top 50 player in the NBA today IMO.

Good player. Average at best in the playoffs. Nothing special about him though. It’s his style of play I don’t care for. Effort has been a real issue for him at times.

Saying a player who made 3 AS teams in the last 4 seasons and 2 All NBA teams ( would have been 3 without his injury) in the last 4 seasons isn't worth 33M is so freaking absurd

That was the issue. They didn’t like KAT and his black hole defensively…bad contract but he was an elite shooter at his size.

At the time of the trade I didn’t know how to grade it but I thought DD was a huge piece. I still don’t like Randle as a player and Towns has a major weakness…but DD will be missed in NY and Minny will love him

I watched too many games he lost by chunking up 3’s and bad shot selection. At least Towns was an elite shooter. This isn’t a comparison to Towns though…this is just what I think of Randle as a player.

He is a solid player. Take it or leave it.

I don't care about who on the team does what, I just want them to win.

I am more concerned about Conley not looking like the same player and Dillingham getting no minutes to prep him.

Wolves starting the season with a playoff rotation when they are one of the deepest teams is bizarre to watch.

Long way to say Randle is not a concern....especially if he keeps shooting like he is.

What about All NBA?

You know the deal.

Accolades like all star and all NBA are largely based on stats.

And there are always players who post great statistical seasons whose actual impact on games isn’t what the stats appear to be for 1 reason or another.

What a player is worth is pretty subjective. But the gap between the elite guys that make the huge contracts and the third tier that squeak it out by making 3rd team all NBA is huge.

And teams are forced to pay too dollar because if they don’t someone else will. But that player also not going to return a ton in trade.
