Just curious what team will you like when the Isles leave long Island?

The Islanders aren't going to move far. The worst case scenario is Brooklyn. Chuck has already been told by the people who will run the Barclays Center that his team is WELCOME.

Dont you think Brooklyn would be the best case scenario as the people have already voted not to build the new arena and fixing up the colesium is not an option.

The seating for hockey isn't ideal. It could definately work though.

I'm not sure. I don't live in NY. From what I've read on the Isles fansite it wouldn't be a big deal for fans in L.I..

The preseason game against the Devils will probably sell out.

Now about this draft thingy.

Koekook has a torn laburm. He's missed almost the entire year. He might not be able to do anything at the combine. He's at best a 2nd round pick at this point.

The guy the Flyers should move up to get is Cody Ceci. He's 6'3 & is an outstanding skater. His mom was a figure skater.

At forward the guy I like is Branden Troock. He missed all of last season with a neck injury. He's come back with a vengance this season. Troock scored the game winning goal in the CHL prospects game. Good size, excellent speed & soft hands.

The distance is not that far but Isles fans usually drive to games and to get to Brooklyn they would have to take public transpotation and long islanders will not do that.

Agree. I will just fly into LaGuardia Int Airport and just get public transportation or friend to get me on the Island. I hate driving out there.

i think that will take trading in to the top 5-7.. i think that'll cost a lot.. one thing i think i would love to see.. is something like bob and jvr to toronto for their first and schenn.. i think they're looking for a more established goalie though so i dont think it would work

Jesus, I will do that trade in a second. Hell, I will even throw in our 1st this year.

Honestly though, I dont think Bob has it. I cant see him be a solid #1, for whatever reason. Best of luck to him where ever he goes though. Hopefully teams really like what he brings.

Agreed. I'd throw in our first probably too.

Bob is never going to be a backup, but I think he could be a capable starter somewhere. He definitely still has value, I think he gets moved this summer.
