First pick trade help

Have 1.1 this year in a dynasty league and have an offer out there now that Sasaki has been posted.

Josh Jung, Justin Foscue (probably dropped if I accept honestly), Termarr Johnson, Andy Pages, Evan Carter, Xavier Isaac

For 1.1

I also own 1.6 and 1.9

I'm having a hard time saying no to this. But I also want to counter without Pages and Foscue with Bubba Chandler instead (pitching is a need).

I've rebuilt this team in about 3 years and have solid but not great pitching depth.

IDK, i actually dont think that is enough for the one overall... let somone do a crazy offer... it will happen... especially for sasaki... also, saski's value is not going to go down...


and even if he doesnt come to america as expected, Charlie Condon seems to be a great backup plan....

I agree on the value not going down, but it's been an absolute struggle to get trades going for the rebuild to come close to being done and most owners are particularly stingy with their prospects. I'm still not even sure how I got the other 2 first round picks, the last one was sent over for almost nothing.

I think I'm going to at least hold onto the pick for now and as we get closer see what I can get for it and if nothing else, just take Sasaki to add to Skenes, Skubal, Woo, and Crochet.

right... you have a plan B that is as good as the plan A... why not wait to see if anyone really gives you an offer you cant refuse...

and the worst case again, even if Sasaki doesnt come to majors, is to draft Condon... he has crazy upside... especially playing in colorado...

can you imagine Aaron Judge playing for colorado??

Honestly Sasaki isn't a guaranteed 1.1 for me because of Condon's upside and my lack of hitters that are major league ready. Prospects are good, but my only 3B is Joey Ortiz and Royce "Always Broken" Lewis. If I could get 1.2 to trade some prospects and 1.2 for 1.1 I would probably do that and let him make the decision for me

agreed... i like 1.2... its kind of safer... Sasaki isnt guaranteed to even come to the states... he is not signed yet... just posted...



if you can get 1.2+ for 1.1... and then have a backup plan like Bazzana, who is safer than Condon, just not as big of an upside... i think you would be happy with that too....

Managed to get Termarr Johnson, Xavier Isaac, Spencer Jones, Josh Jung, and Evan Carter for 1.6 1.9 and 2.9

Still hold onto 1.1 but grab 2 top 100 prospects, 2 other young talents in Jung and Carter and a fringe top 100 prospect in Jones
