Former WS Champs. Hope this updates in 2025
Makes absolute senseCrouse is off to a bad start. Gibson is doing much, much better than Howard though.

That is why I want to hear how they spin this.I think having Howard on the team comes from the front office and is out of Woody's hands. At least, it seems that way to me.
Of course, if we would have bypassed that trade we would have probably traded Gibson for another MIF. LolMakes absolute sense
They won't have to spin it because none of our local media will ask that question. That is why I want to hear how they spin this.
There has to be an end to 2inning starts
How many more starts does he get?
I hope the FO is not making Woody start him. They sure let Wash have his way back in the day
JD did force Wash to move Kinsler from the leadoff spot that one time. Wash was not happy. LolThat is why I want to hear how they spin this.

Yeah how many times do we have to hear about the Rangers superior exit velo resulting in outsThey won't have to spin it because none of our local media will ask that question.
Agree which is why I don't understand why Woody kept Allard in the game against the Angels with a 6-2 lead and they started lighting him up like it was batting practice and did not take him out until we were down 7-6. You can't spin that either because you end up bringing someone in to pitch regardless. Why not do it when you are trying to keep the lead?Remembering what I said in off-season that we needed inning eaters.
Not saying this is the game but sometimes a SP when the pen is burnt has to wear the game and take the hit.
This is the part of the Woody enabling I hate
I'm not sure if you're correct on the 'Woody enabling' or not............But the team of FO teammates - Young/Daniels - left this manager with to little too work with IMO!.......And I'm sitting way outside the lines of 'paying attention.'Remembering what I said in off-season that we needed inning eaters.

My beef with that one is they should have pitched Allard the day earlier and let Burke pitch that dayAgree which is why I don't understand why Woody kept Allard in the game against the Angels with a 6-2 lead and they started lighting him up like it was batting practice and did not take him out until we were down 7-6. Of course they had not enough SP. I just think they are enabling Howard and with starters not going 5 then it taxes the penI'm not sure if you're correct on the 'Woody enabling' or not............But the team of FO teammates - Young/Daniels - left this manager with to little too work with IMO!.......And I'm sitting way outside the lines of 'paying attention.'
It sure what you mean as I remember them eaking out some low scoring game with a good top 3. Brock Flood and not sure the 3rd'68 Bob Gibson couldn't win with just an infield single backing him
Word! But thanks for mentioning Gibson because I loved to watch that guy pitch.'68 Bob Gibson couldn't win with just an infield single backing him'
The short ST reasoning is just an excuse at this point. Every starter should be able to go close to 6 innings at this point.Of course they had not enough SP. I just think they are enabling Howard and with starters not going 5 then it taxes the pen
Someone needs to wear the loss.
If someone said SP can’t go long due to ST not letting them ramp up then I don’t have a good rebuttal to that. But 2 innings. I am not buying
Probably Javier. It sure what you mean as I remember them eaking out some low scoring game with a good top 3. Brock Flood and not sure the 3rd
I just wish we still had the '21 Gibson.'68 Bob Gibson couldn't win with just an infield single backing him

Nothing else in the lineup
Ok yeah 2 hits ain’t going to cut itI mean it doesn't matter who's on the mound when the lineup can't do better than an infield single.
