Oakland is good for what ails a pitching staff. I want to see Otto do well against a better hitting club.

This series will buy Perez and Howard at least 3 or 4 more starts. At least, I would think Howard will do much better tomorrow.
Yes I see this as well. Not one of the more challenging lineups

I find it interesting that in our five wins, we scored 8 or more runs in 4 of them. Does that mean anything? I think it means pitching is so weak that fewer runs mean a loss. Good pitching as in our 2-0 win over the A's resulted in a win without a burden on the offense. Need more of this kind of pitching.

May be not to mention they have scored 47 runs in 16 games.
That is just under 3 runs per game(2.94). That is why it is a teatamemt to their pitching. Last year the Rangers weak offense scored 3.85 runs per game.

I would have like to have seen him pitch another inning as he only threw 65 pitches. He had a full spring training and here we are in the last week of April and he is still very limited. I guess it is because of last year's injury, but I wonder if sometimes baseball decision makers err too much on the side of caution at times. They could be negatively conditioning his arm.

It was a great outing after a bit of a rough start though. Glad to see him doing well.

Leiter had a terrible third inning after 2 really good innings. He had a 2 out walk followed by an error by Foscue. He didn't recover from that.
I read where he got squeezed by the umpire. Learning experience
