if Howard stinks again and that is a strong probability. i would send him down and bring up Alexy. then it would be Monday - Dunning, Tuesday - Hearn, Tuesday - Gray, Wednesday - Otto, Thursday - Alexy and Friday - Perez

Agree about Otto. This is why I want to see how he fares in a couple more starts. This Oakland lineup is nothing like we have seen in the past.

Josh Smith has a very slow start as he acclimated to AAA, but he is doing much better over the last week or so. He had 3 hits tonight and finished up in CF when Bubba Thompson left the game. I believe Josh has made 3 starts in CF as well.

Leiter had a terrible third inning after 2 really good innings. He had a 2 out walk followed by an error by Foscue. He didn't recover from that.

Our 8th round pick from last year, Larson Kindreich, got the start for Down East tonight. He struck out 9 in 4 innings giving him 20 strikeouts in 10 innings this year.
