well if they don't move Calhoun, Miller and Culberson they will occupy 3 of the 13 spots on the roster that leaves 10 roster spots and when you look at Heim, Lowe, Semien, Seager, Taveras & Garcia, that 6 more spots adding up to 9 with Duran, Hernandez and Smith seeing a lot of time covering 3 spots that would leave 1 spot which normally goes to the backup catcher. keeping any or all of the first 3 means little room to give anyone else playing time

And I think that’s what they will do. Woody has shown that he’s not going to play younger players if he doesn’t have too. If Eli White would had stayed healthy, Leody wouldn’t be playing.

I never understood the love for Eli. I think he could be useful off the bench but not as a permanent starter.

Not sure what to say about this game. Bats came alive but the As comeback with all those HRs hit as another loud knocks just so unnecessarily.

It seems to be a back and forth for awhile with these young guys with the pitchers adjusting to him and him adjusting to the pitchers. I have the confidence that he will prevail eventually.
