This is the final weekend to visit before National Signing day comes on February 5th. Some interesting things of note: Just a few weeks ago it was widely assumed that Nebraska could only fit 26 in this class, well the assumed departure of players like Harvey Jackson and Avery Moss have opened up more room and it could be feesable for Nebraska to take as many as 28 now. That is reflected in the ammount of late offers and visitors Nebraska is trying to lock up the final week before signing day.

AJ Bush: 2-Star QB (Bush is a late offer but has offers from the likes of Kansas State and Syracuse as well. By his own admission Bush hasn't really thought about those offers much because he always wanted a college football Blue Blood to knock on his door. Nebraska did when they offered Thursday and according to some accounts it sounds like Michigan might have been on the door step too. Given Darlington's concussion issues and the uncertainty around whether he will ever play competitively again Nebraska would like a second QB in this class. Bush is project but if Darlington is fine and shows well Bush could also move to a variety of positions including Safety or Wide Receiver.)

Lloyd Tubman: 4-Star DE (It had been reported that Tubman was solid to Penn State and had cancelled his visit to Nebraska. However he seems less at ease with the Nittany Lions than he once did and decided not to cancel his visit. Tubman is basically a Darius Slade clone and would be a heck of a replacement for the former commit. Tubman doesn't have a Nebraska offer yet, though one more than likely comes on his visit this weekend.)

Blake McClain: 3-Star DE (McClain is a late entry into the visit list. He is teammates with current Huskre commit Chris Jones and Husker WR target and Louisville commit Desean Blair. Florida State offered him a greyshirt after he had been committed to them for 9 months. He didn't take to it too well and decided to decommit. South Carolina and Nebraska are the two teams in on him so far. He has visited South Carolina (unofficially) and will visit Nebraska this weekend. No doubt Nebraska will push him hard for a commitment on his visit.)

Markell Boston: 3-Star DB (Boston has been seen as a Safety/Corner commit in most circles. He's currently committed to East Carolina but Auburn and Alabama have recently reached out to him. Auburn offered and Alabama seems close. Nebraska got his last visit and wouldn't mind another safety opposite Luke Gifford in this class. Especially if they can steal one away from the Tigers or Crimson Tide.)

There is also seemingly a "mystery guest" at Nebraska right now as well. He was seen with Bo Pelini at the Nebraska basketball game last night but people couldn't seem to put a face with the name.

I hear ya... they are recruiting him as a QB... he has a live arm just very very raw. Pretty fast and shifty guy too, I think he projects to WR pretty well.

Yeah... creepy post! But anyway... I think they are looking at him like a safety valve. Can't afford to have no QB in this class if Darlington goes down and a kid like this is a risk but could also play WR so it's not a complete bust if he doesn't play QB. I understand the frustration but it makes sense... also he didn't play QB until this season so some recruiting sites haven't really looked at him all that much either. there's a ton of emphasis on Junior film and you get punished in the ratings for not having junior film if you break through as a senior. Happened with LeRoy Alexander too, and he seemed to work out well.

Just to add something on Bush, he did switch schools between his Jr and Sr seasons, also not a terrible way to stick our foot in the door at a powerhouse like Norcross GA, kid led his team to a state title and has the brains to go to an Ivy school, Warrens back yard as well. Nothing not to like about this offer way i see

Getting a pipeline from Norcross would be huge... they produce at least one to three elite prospects a year.

A couple of 2 stars (scout) that were pretty good; Quincy Enunma. Then back a little more; Joe Ganz & Brandon Jackson.

I really wouldn't put to much into a 2, 3 or even 4 star. This Kid Bush sounds like he can play. If he led his team to champ game in GA, must be somewhat good? Anyone know what class his school plays in?

A Blue-blood would never tear down an opponent's goal posts after a win. Particularly when that opponent is a (6-5) Kansas.
