I would have said the same a few years ago. Popped my calf a couple years ago and you literally can barely walk,much less run, with that injury… Don’t know the grade of the strain of course, but 3-5 weeks tells me he tore it nice and good.

Even after the signings of Le'Veon Bell, Latavius Murray, Devonta Freeman, and Trenton Cannon, The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec expects the Ravens to give Williams "every opportunity over these first couple of weeks to solidify his hold on the starting job." The team clearly likes Williams. He has a chance to run with the gig if he can produce Week 1 against Vegas. Consider Williams a back-end RB2 with upside this week.

Seeing all the news feeds in the offseason regarding Barkley, something just isnt right. He tore his ACL in week 2. Nearly an entire year later, should we be hearing reports that he is "limited in practice" or "questionable" or "will be eased in?" I think his psyche got damaged also because his doctor cleared him.

There was another RB some time ago. Same thing. Had a recoverable injury and he just wasnt the same. Man, i wish i could remember who that was? Was not an aggressive runner after that.
