He’s had the toe injury? Sounds like he was just limited in practice

Picked up James Robinson and planning (right now) to start him over Jacobs as he is listed as questionable

Just checking to see if LeVeon Bell had blown a ligament yet. No? I’ll check back in a couple of hours.

He will right before kick off when he jumps in the air

Interesting to note murray going to active roster. Freeman is definitely PS. I believe bell is as well. Really may need to look at running stylers here as well. Bell is not a one cut runner. Hes a dance dance dance begind the line patient runner

I really don't think any of Bell, Freeman, or Murray (if he ever signs), or anyone else, will have any problems running through the gaping holes left in the line as everyone chases Lamar.

Ravens signed RB Latavius Murray, formerly of the Saints, to a one year deal worth up to $2 million.

Baltimore now has a group of castoffs and Ty'Son Williams to replace J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, both of whom will miss the 2021 season with knee injuries. Murray joins Williams, Le'Veon Bell, and Devonta Freeman in the Ravens backfield ahead of their Week 1 matchup against Vegas. Murray, 31, is coming off a career-high 4.5 yards per carry in 2020, though he appeared sluggish in the preseason and was essentially replaced by a younger, more explosive back in Tony Jones. Murray's size and physicality would seem to be a good fit in Baltimore's offense. Williams should be considered the odds-on favorite to operate as the team's primary ball carrier for now. Murray should be rostered in most 12-team leagues. Fantasy managers who largely faded early-round running backs should be aggressive in picking up the veteran

Nice. Picked him up the instant I heard whispers about Gus getting hurt at practice.

Cam Newton-
"Newton said in the interview that there are not 32 QBs better than him in the NFL"

Ya know Cam you're dead on balls accurate, the number is actually quite higher than 32.
Unfortunately for Cam, he hit his ceiling. And some of the other 'not-as-good' QB arguably have yet to get to their ceiling.

As for the Latavius Murray conversation... I am officially done with the Baltimore backfield. Within a month, they have signed about a half-dozen RB. I find it highly unlikely that the key to Baltimore's rushing attack lies in some aging vet, or former-injured-comeback player, or some under-used player that couldn't make it to any other 53-man roster.

It is unlikely that any one will. The sad thing is though, every week, someone in the backfield would've been a great start. I just dont think that's ever gonna materialize into that being any "one guy", unless it's a last man standing situation.
At this point in time, whether your in Bell's corner, or Freeman's, or Murray's or Williams's..it's likely all who are active will get a small handful of touches, and in that running game, sometimes a few is all you need to be a fantasy asset any given week...so if I'm forced to choose between rostering one of those guys and virtually any other random RB who "might" get 5-10 touches a week as an emergency fill in type, I will definitely choose the Ravens RB.

Over time, it'll sort itself out, roles will get defined somewhat and 1 or 2 will emerge as those 8-12, or more, touch per week dudes. Problem is, who? Right now they're all inside straight draws, and if you don't put your chips into the pot now, you don't get to see the river card. Guess it depends on the ante as to whether its worth it to place the bet or not

I really hate situations like this. A stud RB is hard to sit, especially since the options owners have on the bench are such a drop off in expected performance as a rule. A big reason I avoided him in redrafts. I own him in 2 dynasty leagues and the chooses are Sermon, Murray, Ronnie Anderson and Marvin Jones, Deedo, Waddle, Reagor and some other ugly choices. Ugggg

Don't think anyone was counting on him so no big deal.

I agree with this philosophy.
But I feel that there may be some waiver wire players who fit this also with a more certain role carved out on their team.
I would much rather add a RB2 like Justin Jackson or a Boston Scott than rolling the dice on a Ravens RB who might handle RB2 duties.
