He's a rookie so not a surprise I guess. Harris made a fumble in the red zone so that off sets a little.

Bill doesn't screw around, and if you put the ball on the turf, you're getting the doghouse treatment for that game. That being said, he's also not a dumbass, and realizes that leaving a guy in the doghouse longer than a commensurate amount of time for the crime is a bad message to send, not just to a young player, but to the entire team. Everything will be fine next week, assuming Stevenson shows he learned something during practice throughout the week.

Apparently they think this is a scrimmage game. Someone should tell them the season has started. They need to make contact/tackles now.

It does, but stevenson fumbled pre season as well. Bill isnt a big rookie guy anywyas. Harris still had a really good game

And that, I think at least, is a bigger issue for Stevenson than a couple of "oopsies"

Conversely, they did lose while punishing him and Harris having a good game...so there's that

I've considered Stevenson a good stash for later, not to be of use right out the gate. So we'll see.

True true. Ive heard many times before this year that bill doesnt like giving rookies a ton of run, does not put uo with missed assignments, and does not put up with turnovers. Tough start on only a few snaps. Hell get a chance at some point. Harris is a really good rubber though. He grades out so well.

Hes always been erratic. Was one of the last men standing last year….now more toys…think hes gonna be very erratic…few good games, lots of not so good games. Just my opinion.

edit : if i looked correctly even last year he had only 5 games with over ten ppr points. He actually only had 5 games with 5 or more receptions. Which obv is not good. Tight end is a wasteland. 5 catches a game would be stellar and elite. But he also had 4 games with 1 or zero catches and, 6 with 2 or less. Just saying temper expectations.

I think your top comment can apply to any TE today not named Kelce/Kittle/Waller. They're all gonna have some bad, some good. But a big fat zero? That's the Hoodie eliminating him as an option for Tua.

Well he did have a gew zeros last year.
And like i said 6 games with 2 or less catches so this is not uncommon.
It absolutely applies to most tight ends. Gesicki is just a guy that has had hype since he was drafted and never has done much. I guess thats my point…
