I'd prefer Polk personally I just see Ball being more of a Marvin pick for some reason.

I'm really starting to warm up to David Wilson. Polk is a really good, all round back. Ball is talented but I'm always skeptical of Wisconsin backs (I think often they're a product of their line...who did they have last year? John Clay. hasnt done squat. Ron Dayne? Terrible...actually I tend to not like Big Ten RBs at all).

1. Your not much of a draft expert if you have Dennard above Claiborne.
2. A LOT of teams need CB. No chance any of the top 4 fall to us. If one did it would be Jenkins because of his off the field issues.
3. That is just much of a reach for Polk when we can likely get him in the 2nd round. Miller maybe there but not Polk. Getting James or Wilson in the 3rd is better than Polk in the first.
4. We need a starting S, not a 4th round project. We already have Sands for that.
5. We also don't need a protect OG. We need a starter to replace Livings, not some guy who might learn to play there.
6. Simpson will be brought back, also with Shipley coming back along with Hawkins emergence, I don't see WR as a big enough need to draft that early. We can always get a WR in FA. However if we pick a WR in the 3rd I wouldn't be upset.

Yeah I'm not big on Whisky RBs. I like Polk in the 2nd, Wilson or James in the 3rd.

Isaiah Pead, please. Or Dan Herron. Either will do.

finally... As Tubbs knows, if both of these guys are available, I would definitely take DW over Miller.

Also, for the love of god I hope we do not draft Chase Minnfield, he is probably the most overrated corner in the country

Is this a sure thing? I'm not in Cincy anymore so I don't hear all of the signing news. I agree that I think we should look for a WR in FA or wouldn't be opposed to looking to draft one in the 3rd with one of our 2 picks. Simpson is to inconsistent to lock up imo

I could love to replace Simpson, but I think he'll end up being brought back.

Miller is a far superior RB to Wilson. It's not really that close. Haven't watched Minnifield myself but everything I've read is very high on him. I fully expect Simpson to be here next year.

Player 1

255 attempts, 1595 yards, 6.3 average, 9 TDs, runs 4.29 40, 5'10" 205 lbs

Player 2

227 attempts, 1272 yards, 5.6 average, 9 TDs, runs 4.39 40, 5'11" 212 lbs

Both play in the same division of the same conference.

Now go ahead and tell me which one is far superior to the other.

There is a reason Miller might be a 1st rounder and Wilson is a 3rd rounder. Stop being a homer.

I'm not being a homer. And I would love to hear what this "reason" is?

Is it because you only watch UC and OSU college football games and you saw him tear up OSU in the one game you saw either of them play?

Stats don't tell the whole story sweetheart. Otherwise Ball is the best RB in America.

Tubbs actually is a big VT fan. He applied there after high school I believe, but more of a pipe dream than reality to go that far away.

Why is there a need to argue over everything? Damn! People have their own opinion. Its not not, its not wrong its just their opinion.

And I doubt Chase Minnifield gets selected in the 1st Round. He reminds me alot of Kelly Jennings. A fast undersized CB who excelled in College but doesn't have the strength to match up against bigger WR's in the NFL. But again this is just my opinion.

I'm just saying, you've never given a real reason as to why LM is better other than "uh, he's higher on mock draft boards". I think they're very similar backs. The stats don't lie though, and the would be more lopsided if I posted common opponent stats. It's just ridiculous to say one is that much better than the other - either way
