Scoring should be simple? I hope....

My Proposal:
No PPR (wouldnt mind .5 rec tho)
No Bonus
6 pt all TDS
1 pt 25 pass yd
1 pt 10 rec/rush yd
-2 turnover

yep, except i like .5 ppr

Agree to already set. I think the next thing to discuss would be draft order to begin the league, and then for following years.

i would imagine we have to random snake the 1st year

however as i suggested earlier maybe the snake just decides the pecking order of who chooses where they want to position themselves in the draft order (writing it out sounds confusing but end result is not)

ie;;; the snake randomizer choose Treff as 1 Chef as 2 and Milk as 3 and so on

and then Treff who choose 1st picks Draft spot 4 in the snake
Chef picks draft spot 7 in the snake
Milk says hey ill take Draft spot 1 and so on and so on...

i know when i posted it it definitely received some positive re action...

Yeah this was my thought as well, if we didn't just want to randomize the order.

ITS MILK TIME!!!!

this is the way i would love to do the first years draft order...

First off, instead of waiver wire we use FAAB!!!

now, we start with a certain amount of FAAB, lets say 300...

We have an auction for the draft order using FAAB...

and then all seasons afterwards the FAAB is set at 200...

#s are always debatable...

Absolutely, unequivocally no on any type of auction format for me. ..that's a deal breaker

Not an auciton, just an auction to figure out the draft order... It is very similar to Barilkos idea, but it takes away the randomness...

So what's to keep everyone from bidding the max on the position they want, and then having a 14 way tie for #1? No reason to hold anything back..doesn't make sense

I think the auction just clouds up the draft order. That really should be the most simple thing we set up imo.

the FAAB for the regular season would be less the more you bid...

I have heard "THE EXPERTS" use this way in one of their drafts, if i can find the actual rules to UNCLOUD it since my description was clearly not good enough....

But either way for my proposal we would have to use FAAB, so we would have to decide FAAB over waiver wire first...

Milk. You're funny, man. You always assume you don't explain things well enough. Not the case my friend.

I disagree with that idea as well, but it's not for a lack of comprehension.

Well, when i get some of the replies i do, it makes more sense to me that people misunderstood what i am saying...

Wasn't it you who is trying to complicate the draft order???

huh choose your spot after random is hardly complicated

but bidding dollars and combing draft with waivers now that is work for the commish

See, if I don't understand something. .I'll ask for clarification. Otherwise. .I've gotten it. .just don't like it, no matter how many ways you explain it.

Just to clarify, I'm not attempting to make it sound like i think your a whack job and everything you come up with is crap. Like others have said, your creative, a lot of the stuff you come up with would be interesting to try in other leagues, in a different setting. .There's just no reason for it with this group, especially given the restraints of a free hosting site, and the demands it would put on a commish

we talk about the demands of the commish, but most of the creative rules will just be added conversation on this board... Now if you want to protect us from the WHAT IF question of any of us stop posting here or if this board goes down, then fine... But chances are if this board does go down and or anyone stops posting here, then those owners will stop being active in our league anyway... we are very dependent to SportsHoopla, as we all have other leagues too...
