A teacher I had in high school named Dale has a twin brother named Chip. He went on to explain how pissed they still are at their parents about it. He was also one of my football coaches so some of us made sure to remind him how big of a mistake it was to tell us in the first place. lol

My peeve is parents who pierce their infant's nose or ear. Are you kidding me? When a person is old enough to choose the pain to adorn themselves then fine. Doing that to an infant is abuse.

When my aunt married my uncle they made the agreement that he would name the boys and she would name the girls. When their first son was born he was named Stratton. Years later, shortly before their 2nd son was born my uncle settled on Briggs, my aunt at this point revoked his naming rights and named the kid herself.

That would an interesting number to see. I have always lived in Missouri so I guess I could always claim I've lived in the St. Louis fan base territory. I would think a large portion of people move out of their local region though.

The thing i would like to see parents do is think beyond the 1st couple of years, when this kind of dumbass name is cute...Remember they might well feel pretty silly as a 50-year old to have the same "cute' name to carry around...
