NO THEY DIDN'T.

Any top 10 list should include Bonds, Gehrig and possibly Walter Johnson. You can't put Jackie in before Hornsby.

No problem with 1-7 although I would put them in a different order. Loved Maddux but he's not the second best pitcher of all time. Walter Johnson, Lou Gehrig and Barry Bonds should be on the list. Kirby at 11!

So kick Robinson off. Who else goes to make room for Gehrig, Bonds, and Johnson?

Same question, who else goes besides Maddux to make room for those 3?

If you're going 20 deep you have to have slots for Pedro Martinez and Rickey Henderson. I put Pedro over Grover and Rickey over Ott

Cy and Maddux fall off gracefully for Lou and Barry. Those 2 belong in the top 6. Doesn’t have to be Walter but he is the best SP of all-time so I think he belongs-take out Jackie

Just looking idly at Baseball Reference...Rickey Henderson played 25 years and made $44.5 million TOTAL his entire career. Biggest payday was $4.8 mil in 1994 from Oakland (my how times have changed). Even after inflation that is peanuts compared to what these guys make today
