The money is absolutely the issue. IMO he is not good, but average I'll go with. He does at times use his size to play some of the bigger receivers and we do ask him to do a lot at times and deep help is not often an option with our safeties. But, he is probably the worst CB I have ever seen at following WRs across the field on crossing patterns. I heard Broaddus mention it a few years ago and ever since then I have been watching it and it's uncanny how he just loses his guy every time on those patterns.I was listening to a sports talk show last week and they said the problem with Carr is the amount of money he's being paid. They talked about on a league wide scale, Carr was average to good. They pointed out how he hadn't missed a game since his arrival in Dallas.
I tend to agree.
