I feel kinda bad for him. He probably gets more coverage in the New York media than he does in Seattle. Every time I google Edwin Diaz or Robinson Cano I see an article written from a New York source that is talking about how the trade just continues to get worse and worse for them.

The link seems to indicate it might be a rumor. Perhaps they're still negotiating or something, not sure.
I think whenever they publicize things it's when they can do the whole song and dance of the prospect signing the contract and perhaps he's not in Seattle yet. Albeit I haven't double checked and for all I know it could've been confirmed by now.
