I get the argument, but I think Hester transcends, "just a return man', or "special teams".

When you are the best of all-time, at any position, you deserve mention.



I realized it may be an unpopular opinion, that's why I mentioned that I was "switching it up" in my OP, but Hester was a game-changer like no other before or since.

Hester was an amazing return guy but it just didn't have that big of an impact on the total game that people want to believe. 2006, 2007, 2010, a handful of TDs but when teams kicked away from him, he was neutralized. Considering the year Tomlinson had that year, I don't think anyone else was an MVP candidate. That might be the best season that any RB has ever had, if not it's definitely top 3 or 4.
