In the article they post one of their chosen Mount Rushmore candidates for each team then provide a link to click to find out who the other 3 are.

It does appear that the Patriots just signed the best of Carolina's Mount Rushmore for cheap.

For GB I would mostly agree

Don Hutson, Bart Starr, Reggie White, and Favre

Sports Mount Rushmore's are the laziest form of content. Who's on mine? The same that were on it the last half dozen times this was passed off as original content and will probably be the same the next half dozen.

    Anyway contunue.

For the Pats, swap Ty Law for Andre Tippett. Otherwise, agree with Brady, Hannah and Gronk.

Maybe he is because saying Hester made his head explode. Hester might very well be the best return man in history but that's all he was. Singletary belongs, hell, if I was a Bears fan, Urlacher would rank higher than Hester too.

Hester changed the game. He literally changed the rules. What he did was unprecedented. It will never be duplicated. Once in a generation-type player.

Singletary was a badass, but you could make an argument that he wasn't even the best player on his defense. Urlacher was a stud too, but I bet he'd be the first to tell you, that Hester was on another planet.

    Nope.

He's hand down the best player to EVER play his position.

Probably. Still a return man though :noidea:

My sources say they are ranked even below Center on the "importance" scale...

Ya, I don't think there was a team in the league that thought that way when lined up to kick it to him.

I get the argument, but I think Hester transcends, "just a return man', or "special teams".

When you are the best of all-time, at any position, you deserve mention.

I realized it may be an unpopular opinion, that's why I mentioned that I was "switching it up" in my OP, but Hester was a game-changer like no other before or since.

I don't have a problem with the Steelers list. Unlike some of you schmucks we have so many all time greats it's kind of a pickem.
