Mine was a 1971 Pontiac LeMans.
After 2 transmissions, 10 speeding tickets, and 2 accidents (not my fault), I sold it for $100.
(it actually still ran)

Quite a let down from the 1st car that got away ('69 Roadrunner with a 383 that needed reassembly - Dad was a mechanic), but.,...

1979 Dodge Aspen with a flat six. Ran that car hard, couldn't hurt that bulletproof engine. Our household was overrun with these cars; my Mom drove an Aspen wagon and my Dad was drag racing a built Volare (Plymouth version of the Aspen). Sold it when I got my 2nd car ('77 Firebird Formula).

Mine wasn't the RT (so no hood scoop, spoilers or window louvers, but those same stock sport wheels):

1984 Honda Accord. It had 270k miles on it. I put on another 50k on it, then sold it for a thousand bucks. That thing ran great, I loved it.

Mine was a 68 Triumph Spitfire, a 2-seat British sportscaster with a tiny engine, but it didn't weigh much so it was quick enough for me. I bought it new out of the showroom for $2150. 21st birthday present. I traded it in for a 75 MGB.

My ex-wife's Dad was a high-up engineer at Cadillac, so I had a string of GM cars, all of which I hated because they were maintenance nightmares.

When I die, if they give me the keys to that MGB, I'll know I'm in Heaven, but if it's that yellow Pontiac wagon, it'll be the other place.

Had hand me downs in high school 1976. First was an AMC in line six, Matador, very ugly, but handled well. it had the violet paint job got it repainted green-blue metallic, put in good tires, suspension, etc.

Almost at the same time got VW Golf 78, brand new, kept buying that brand for years after.

1988 Honda Accord is the first car that I ever bought. I liked that the headlights flipped open when you turned them on. Five speed manual. I bought it used sometime in 2001 when I was in college. I can't remember the horsepower, but it was decently fast. I ended up giving it away to a friend of my cousin.

The first car I ever drove was a 1986 Toyota Tercel that belonged to my father. It was also a manual drive (I think pretty much all cars were manual back then). My brother thought it was wise to drive it 130 mph or so on Highway 80, so the thing broke down and died.

Also had a Malibu 6-cyl, stick shift on the steering column, early 80s. That was a fun car.

My first car was a 1984 black and gold trans am. it was given to me just before I turned 17. My parents bought it from my uncle for 3k back in the early 90's. I LOVED that car. I was crazy blessed to get it, as my uncle was selling a couple of his vehicles b/c he was starting a family.

70 Dodge Coronet wagon in faded yellow with a 225 slant 6 and a 3 on the tree.
The throw out bearing seized so I drove it until the pressure plate fingers wore away. I got $25.00 for it at the junk yard.
Good times 77 -79 I think.

Good ol' Subaru Legacy. Still have it, still runs damn well given it often sits for months on end without me starting it lol (don't have to drive much where I live - everything is walkable). Got by for a few years borrowing my Mom and Dad's old car. They already had two and wanted to buy another so really didn't have any place for it. When that blew a head gasket I figured it was time to get my own.

I hate driving and am just not a car enthusiast at all... People always say, "What's your dream car?" My response: "The same Subaru I'm still driving... and if that dies I'll go buy something cheap as well." People say, "No no if you won the lottery what would you get?" Me: "Probably an awesome house, lots of property, a crew every month to maintain it!" "No no, what car would you buy?" Me: "Wouldn't... I'd still drive the same ol' Subaru." lol.
