See no collusion here. Those two contracts are dramatically different!

He owes Peyton Manning at least half of that.

Von Miller if not franchised next year, needs to put his home on the market. No way they can pay him now. Naturally, this depends on what happens with Peyton. But, I think he has a huge dead money hit coming due.

Good...finally getting some traction on a few other WRs who I'm sure have been waiting to see who gets what.

Julio, Dez, AJ Green...the table is pretty much set now.

There is no way Dez and Demaryius contracts are alike. There both have the same amount of years and the same dollah figure but completely different contracts

Elway will part ways with Manning ($19 mil in salary, but only 2.5 mil dead money hit in '16 if released) before he let's Miller leave via FA.

I think you would need a fine tooth comb to differentiate though...the key number is very similar...guaranteed cash.

Ok without even looking it up, last I looked the Broncos were about 15 mil under the cap. Miller with what Houston just got will put him out of range unless something like Manning goes. Care to refute?

A little research goes a very long ways. There is only $2.5 million in dead money by cutting Manning after this season. That means about $19 million in extra cap space for the Broncos. Plenty to be able to sign Von Miller. Even without cutting Manning the Broncos still have plenty of room to sign Von Miller. First off Cap Space is just a magical number. The Broncos this next season could go out and sign every big name FA to big deals and still find a way to be under the cap. It wouldn't be smart obviously as eventually all those deals have to come up and the big cap hits will show up eventually. The Broncos though could easily sign Von Miller to a deal such as that of Justin Houston of 6-years $101 million and have his first year cap hit only be around $6 million. Look at the Suh deal in Miami. He signs the largest non-QB contract in NFL history and yet his first year Cap Hit is only $6 million this season. Again a little research goes a very long ways to not looking like an idiot.

I Do I do!! Right now without the DT deal and not knowing what his Cap Hits will be the the Broncos have about $24 million in Cap Space. This is also assuming that the Cap is only $150 million this next year and good chance it is actually higher than that.

Right now before the DT deal gets all figured out the Broncos actually have more Cap Space than that of the Patriots for this upcoming season. When you throw in good chance this is Manning's last year even after signing DT good chance they still have about $10-15 million more than that of the Patriots. Again depending on DT's. numbers.

Miller walks when hell freezes over.

Just like you guys with Houston you don't let a game changer like Von Miller walk. Honestly Houston got about what I expected and it sets the ground work for the Broncos now with Von Miller for this next off season. Heck they could almost get it done now and just add it to this year type thing.

Do teams really care about a "cap hit?" If they want a player or players badly enough they will take the penalty, no?
