Jets should shock the world and engage in talks after tonight with the Saints about Drew Brees

A parting of the ways is inevitable between Brees and the rebuilding Saints, why not step in now and offer 2 first rounders to start?

The Jets are truly that QB away from being serious SB contendors

I was hoping the Phillip River's thing in S.D. would blow up and give the Jets a shot. I just can't see the Saints letting him go until he's completely done

I think Payton takes Brees to his next job, barring something unexpected....And I think that happens at the end of this season....I hear Miami is angling hard for Payton (i dont know why), but I know Miami isnt a fit for Brees with that Tannehill contract

Has been sacked the fewest times of any QB that has started every game this year. 4th in yards. Finally 13th in completion percentage. Not sure you have been paying attention to the Giants this year but Eli is having a big bounce back season.

Same can be said of Brady right now or any QB in the NFL that is doing well. Heck Rodgers just had one of his worst games in years.

You are right it is very possible that Eli doesn't continue on this pace. He also though has shown that he can have break out years after terrible years. He is a guy that you don't know from season to season what he is going to bring. This seems like a bounce back year though as he looks very comfortable plus he is playing in an easier division.
