last year they got beat up early, rallied, and won yet another superbowl. This year the games have not been competitive at all (yes, even the buffalo game..which football fans know wasnt close).

i wish this team had more competition. someone to push them. so far, it hasnt happened. maybe the jets?

thats all that comes to mind as far as regular season goes.

What worries me most is all this anger will wear off before the Superbowl and cause a let down.
First loss should help. (not this Sunday)

They didn't need the anger last year unless you think that helped them during the superbowl. Ole hoodie will have them ready week in, week out.

Yeah you guys are peaking way too early and it was a long offseason for some key guys. You won't be there at the end. The AFC looks really really weak at the top. Good year to get hot in the NFC playoffs and ride it through the Super Bowl.

deep thoughts by Rock

"should I have the corned beef or the lobster bisque for lunch".

I would go with the lobster bisque if you want my opinion

Long season... Having the bye really really early is an issue for teams that have it...

Long stretch lots of stuff can happen and change...expect it

Jets, because they always play them tough, and outside of Fitz, the talent is legit

And the Giants, because they own New England and laugh at Tom Brady*

Rock is right. The Pat's schedule is so easy this year so far and will continue to be all season long that it might actually hurt the Pat's.

The best offense they play all year long is the Bell-less Steelers in week 1 (where they were torched for 450+ yards and easily could have lost that game if the Steelers kicker didn't suck). For the rest of the way the best offense they play is probably the Giants (maybe the Eagles depending on where they are at later in the season).

The Pat's aren't going to know until playoff time if their defensive schemes work with their current personnel against good NFL offenses. And often times not finding something like that out till playoff time means it is too late.

On the flipside, who in the AFC would give them trouble in the AFC?

Bengals or Broncos is all i could think of

And the Bengals, welll...

And the broncos are relying on a defense that the Pats usually make look pretty pedestrian in Foxboro every time

.....you mean the Ravens might stop losing games and Flacco might become elite?
