Not unless we get reinforcements. But yes this year they aren't as far ahead as recent years. Pretty sure they slow rolled adding payroll to take their shot at Ohtani and I think that's probably gonna work.

You make it work. Arenado was a shortstop in high school. He can also DH. Davis can play 1B or DH or LF sometimes. It's only 2 months and next year you figure it out more permanently.


Kinda moot anyway I doubt the Cards deal him and if they do it won't be to us.

To be honest I dont think he's going anywhere. The Cards aren't some scrub team that has to tear it all down just because they are having a rare down year. Arenado is a cornerstone under contract for 4 more years

I am a big Arenado fan. I would love to see him in the Black and Orange. It just doesn’t make logical sense right now.

I would be THRILLED if we DONT get Anderson. I think that JA is a cancer.

But he is talented, and he might be cheap.

As for alternatives, I have no idea. Scutaro was not on my radar in ‘12, and he was PERFECT.
