2:48 p.m. – Ten games into the season, it seems Dak Prescott has entered the NFL MVP conversation with league standouts such as Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Kansas City’s Pat Mahomes and the Patriots’ Tom Brady.

As quarterback of the league’s top-ranked offense, Prescott currently ranks first in the league in passing yardage (3,221) and tied for second in touchdowns (21). MVP talk is the furthest thing from his mind, though -- particularly with so much football left to play.

“The only thing I care about is wins,” he told reporters Thursday. “If that means I'm the most winningest quarterback in the league, sure, I want it.”

I like his attitude!

I honestly think Brady is a broken down old man being carried by that defense. The guy is not playing like an MVP right now. We got the pass rushers to frustrate Brady. My concern is stopping the Patriots running backs in the run and pass game and the Patriots defense. If the Cowboys cant stop the Patriots short passing game and runs they lose.

Real interesting star on Dak I saw in an ESPN article. Dak has 13 (yes 13) multi-turnover games in the last three years. Only Jamesis Winston with 17 has more. November was a bad month. Only victories this year against Giants 2X, Skins, Dolphins, Lions and Eagles. Head to head against any decent QB other than Went, he has ended with an L.

Dak was not real good yesterday. That pass to zeke on 4th and goal was a WTF moment. The play calling sucked yesterday.

Dak was just not good yesterday. Missing those easy completions are drive killers. You just can't do it and worse is turning the ball over. It was out of reach in the 4th, but we would have been in the game or really IMO winning if Dak had a better game.

He has "Carried his team to ONE Super bowl win in going on 11 years as a starter, and I don't see him carrying the 2019 team there.
Brady has carried his teams to 6 SB wins. Brady >>>>>> Rodgers.

I do know he struggles against good defenses.
He scored less points than Dak's team & Dak played the #1 defense in a monsoon.

Now on the other hand while the packers were getting blown out by a good niner defense. There was plenty of garbage time! (in nice weather)

You can’t. We have lived and died by his performances. I think the people’s view is that he is more effective as a game manager. His 6-6 record this year leads some to believe he is more effective in that capacity than as the focal point of the offense. Look at his record versus winning teams. He did well in 2016 at 5-3 but since then, his record has not been great. The Cowboys will give him a mega contract. Let’s hope he proves worthy of it and not just a guy who excels against lessor competition.

But it's not just Dak vs winning teams, it's the Cowboys team. For how many of those losses did we look back afterwards and say it was Dak that lost the game or didn't do his part as compared to the coaching or defense or something else.
