Then he'll sit at home. Someone will get hurt and Allen's agent will most likely be the first person the GM calls.

doubt he will do that. i expect he will realize what teams think he is worth at his age and end up signing with Seattle

yeah I think once he realizes his hard ball didn't work he will go for the ring. Or just take who ever gave him the best offer, but he will be in camp with some team when it starts.

If he sits and waits he will get more money per game than he's being offered right now. It possible he gets the same amount of money his current best offer is while only having to play 10 games.

I posted this the other day. If all offers are basically equal he'll go to Seattle for a chance at the SB. I think Seattle believes the same thing so they have a take it or leave it offer on the table.

Isn't that what Richard Seymour thought?

Was Seymore final year in Oakland any close to Allen in 13?

Different defense. He was injured. He was asking for half of what Allen is. He is still a free agent a year later...

Exactly. He was coming off injury stuck on 5M a season. He's was also 2 years older than Allen is when he tried to demand too much money. I guess it would be interesting to know how much teams are offering Allen.

same here but can't believe it is much over 4.5 to 5.5M for 2014 for a player who is probably going to be a situational peg

The Broncos were willing to give him the same contract before Ware became available

Are you saying he was going to offered 30k over 3 years if Ware wasn't released when he was? If so where did you hear that?

his own agent said that there was never an offer like that from Denver

I heard it several places such as ESPN, NFL network, basically Ware got his deal
