Agree. Only players I trade up for in this draft are Watkins and Clowney, any other player I'm staying at 16 or trading down.

that has to be just smoke & mirrors. No way they look for a high pick QB after they just redid Romo's contract. Jerry would never allow anyone to claim jerry being wrong on the QB contract. Which is what picking a Qb with a high pick this draft would be doing. So I feel pretty safe not having Manzel on this team.

I'd say Romo is gone come 2016 at the latest. Wouldn't shock me at all if Manzell was the pick to be honest, although I think if Manzel went to Washington and Russell Wilson had went to A&M Manzel would probably be 2nd or 3rd round prospect. Manzel has talent but he is also a lot of hype. I'd take him mid second, I think Bortels has bust all over him, and don't know what to make out of Bridgewater. Bortels reminds me of Matt Leinart for some reason.

Yeah...lets just say I am going to be very uncomfortable if Manziel is still around when we get to about pick #12 or so...I don't want any part of him at #16, but wonder if Jerry feels the same....

And everything Jerry has said to the media has been 100% true? The stupidest thing Steven can do is tell everyone who he really wants to draft. Nets I thought you had a better handle on the way the NFL works.

Stephen has a good reason for pumping Johnny Football. Every time a team takes one of these mediocre QB's in the top 10, it pushes another good player down for us to choose from at 16

If we took any of these QB's at 16 I'd shit myself. I think Bortles and Garapolo would be worth a second, the rest of the QB's are 3rd rounders at best IMO

I think Bortles is worth a 3rd not a 2nd .... but with this weak Qb class he will be drafted too early

Happened last year .... Which was also a weak Qb class

He had 5 games with more than 50 yards and only 2 games with more than 5 catches nothing major, numbers are inflated by his few good games including the 150 game. Take into consideration that the guy you are saying trade Dez had 11 games over 50 yards and 10 games with more than 5 catches.

I think we will have to disagree on this one bro, hope I am deep wrong, I think TWill has a ton of talent, but don't think he is ready to be a number two WR yet.

Dez's rookie year he got a lot more attention, but only had 7 games of >50 yards and 3 games with 5 or more catches. He did that with 74 targets as opposed to Bryants 160 targets in their rookie years.

I have no idea which of us is going to be correct, but I think TWilliams is going to be a major player for this team as long as he keeps his head straight and there are no injuries (no reason to doubt either happens).

Where did you hear that? Your Assalmanac? Melton is already in Dallas, why wouldn't he sit and listen to their offer? If he doesn't like off to Seattle he goes. He has nothing to lose at this point.

Dez actually only had 72 targets his rookie year, I do not know where you saw 160 targets at? The most targets Dez has ever gotten was last year at 159. So to take this into consideration Dez had 2 less targets than TWill.

Also remember Dez only started 2 games his rookie season and also missed 4 games that season due to broke ankle. Then take into consideration that TWill started 8 games this past season, with hardly the big names around him that Dez had his rookie season in Roy Williams who had 61 targets which was 14 more than Miles had this year I believe, and then it starts to show that TWill actually had more of an opportunity than Dez did rookie season.
