That kid learned and adjusted so fast last year for a rookie it was unreal

and did that while in mid progression got held back to put Austin on the field ( typical Jerry moves biggest contract must be on the field rather than who earned the playing time)

Agree, it's not like we were Denver last year, we have a solid O not great by any means, top 10 not top 5. Denver, Saints, Pack, Philly, Bears. From there you could argue Pats with not Gronk, Lions, Chargers, Colts, and Niners are better and more complete on O.

He had 5 games with more than 50 yards and only 2 games with more than 5 catches nothing major, numbers are inflated by his few good games including the 150 game. Take into consideration that the guy you are saying trade Dez had 11 games over 50 yards and 10 games with more than 5 catches.

I think we will have to disagree on this one bro, hope I am deep wrong, I think TWill has a ton of talent, but don't think he is ready to be a number two WR yet.

That could very well be the case. I was suspecting Dallas would try to sign him to a 3-year deal, but we may not see them even get the chance.

Not to mention Dez had ten games with touchdowns TWill only 5, in addition to that you say Miles took away TWills chances, not true at all...while Miles may have been on the field it doesn't matter if the QB doesn't target you, Miles had 49 targets last year, compare that to Cole Beasley having 54 targets, and the truth is that Miles didn't take anything from anyone due to the fact the QB simply didn't even target him much last year. TWills fall off in late season was all him. Now don't think I'm saying this guy doesn't have IT because I think the kid is very special and I am happy with he and Dez for the next 7-9 years BUT that doesn't mean I think he is ready now to be a #2 in the NFL or this team. It is my thought that he needs another year to work on his catching and route running. Now maybe this guy is busting his ass, and comes out and kills it next year, I'll be to happy if that's the case, but I don't see it that way this year.

I agree with you, it's gonna be hard for the kid this year. I would like us to trade down and pick up an extra 2 & 4 that way we can possibly get Pryor at end of first, Philly won't draft Safety now that they signed some, and Carolina will take LT at end of first so Pryor should slip down, then I'd go DL and WR in second.

I don't know if he regress, but him learning to catch the dang ball with his hands could certainly move him foward as a wr.

A trade down would absolutely be the way to go in my mind too, provided we don't get hosed on value. I think if Melton signs with Seattle we go hard for Spencer, and if we get Melton, we go S, DE, WR in the draft. What it really comes down to is we are a couple of really good drafts away in my opinion.

Why? He's a proven 3 Tech and that is what we need. He was hurt last year, but no reason to think he won't recover. He is exactly what we do need. The only questions seem to be are the $'s low enough with our cap problems and do we prefer getting a 3 tech through the draft. We cut Ware, so we might as well do something with the dollars...I just hope we spend wisely...

I think T Will is already a solid #2...just don't get what you guys are looking for. When you have a top 5 WR in the league and all of our other weapons, you don't need a 1a. He proved himself plenty to me last year. If Romo was able to connect with him on the 3 or 4 go patterns that were easy TDs his stats would be even better...kid is already good enough and I expect him to be even better going forward...

I don't think so. But I wouldn't be shocked if he is there at 16. A lot of talent this year...

Only way we get Mack is if he is there at 16. Only player I think Jerry considers trading for is Manzell and that is if he makes it to ten, just to sale tickets. I think what really happens is the trade down, all signs are pointing to it with the offseason we are having, the depth in this draft is right what we need.

Trading up for Manziel would made trading up for Donald look like a brilliant move.
