Sweezy good in the run game. Did you notice no break down of his pass blocking? Still I'm more up in the air about the new starters, who ever they may be. Next year Okung is a free agent. It's a bit worrisome.

What do you think about taking a flyer on OT Isaiah Battle in the supplemental Draft? Most likely takes a 4th to get him. This would give them a pretty good OT ( not top flight but solid ) for the "just in case" Okung wants to much and the Hawks can't sign him.

Yeah O-line is our one really big question mark ... D looks solid, passing game looks good with some added weapons ... O-line scares me a bit.... I like Cable though, he seems to get the best out of lesser talent... Although Russ has been so elusive it's helped in that area.... If we had a non scrambling QB the last couple years it could a been trouble... Russ is a master at extending play's ...

I'm for it, I guess. Don't actually know diddle about him to be honest.

I don't know much about him other than what i have read and seen in 1 highlight tape. They say he would have been a late 3rd or 4th round pick in the draft if he would have been in it. He has really long arms and legs that they say allow him to fight off most rushers even if they beat him off the line and his foot work fails him. he has 35 inch arms and stands almost 6 foot 7 at around 290-310 pounds ( played in college at 285-295 ). What i noticed is how his body looks like a young Walter Jones but a little thinner. Kid looks to have little to no fat on him and is just a big lean agile OT that needs to work a little on his legs. Legs are easy to bulk up though. The scouting report says he just needs to bulk up and get some solid teaching. If Cable is as good as he thinks he is then this guy should be drafted by them.

here is clemson in their bowl game if you want to Watch battle a little more. i feel he does a lot better in this game myself.

Yeah I heard a 3rd or a 4th is what was being thrown around. Good gamble by the Rams. A 5th sounds a lot better then a 4th.

Agreed, giving up a 5th for him is a good move. A 4th would be hard to swallow for someone that needs development like Battle but i knew it would take a 4th to get him. I bet there was a handful of teams that put in 5th and 6th round picks for him and i do not doubt the Hawks were one of them to be honest. Battle has the perfect frame for a LT that just needs to develop and add more muscle mass. His long arms are a huge boon for the position and his is pretty athletic for a guy that is 6 foot 7. I like how he is so lean, you do not need to be fat to be a good lineman and it will help them stay healthier longer if you ask me.
