Colin Kaepernick trashing Richard Sherman on ESPN Radio and the New York Post:

To me, it was ridiculous. But if that's what you need to do to make yourself feel like a better player, you have to tell everyone, I'm the best corner in the league, go ahead and tell them.

At some point, it's going to catch up to you.

I'll take Crabtree against Sherman any day of the week.

Kappernick taunted Cam Newton in Carolina. Isn't that the same thing he is calling out Sherman for?
Jury is out on Kap as a QB, but as a person, he is right there with all the trash talking look at me assholes in the game. No one has to be afraid of Niner receivers cause its who is throwing the ball to them. How many int's does he have against seattle? Its his legs that defenses have to plan for. Not his throwing ability.

There's obviously some maturing that this guy still has to do. A QB responding to a trash talking corner? They all talk dude. Sherman just talks a little more and is more public about it. When Deion was running at the mouth before a 49ers/Falcons game about how they were going to shut down Rice Montana responded with 5 TD's to Rice and no talk afterwords.

I wonder if Kaepernick realizes that by even responding to Sherman he is losing. This just feeds the mass hysteria over Sherman that has occurred since the NFC Championship game. Sherman is probably cashing in big with endorsements now.

In his defense he congratulated Wilson after the game (said "go out and get a win" or something) and at the podium he said that the loss was on him. I think part of it is him being sick of being asked about Sherman.

The annoying part of it is him saying "if it was a foot higher" because that's a load of crap. Sherman is taller, has pretty long arms himself and was with him step for step. A good QB would have checked down. But that wasjust him repeating what Harbaugh was saying.

As I wrote in the other thread on this, he talked about if his pass was another foot longer Sherman would have been the goat. If Rick Mirer had thrown all of his another foot he might have ended his career with more TD's than INT's. What separates a great QB from an ok QB is not leaving those a foot short in tight coverage.
