The Clippers are out of their minds if they don't do this. They are basically giving up crap for a guy who has the talent to help them and can be gone in 2 years if he doesn't. Plus, they'd only be paying him $9 million per year. If the Hornets are still willing to throw in the #8 pick, it's really a no-brainer.
Imagine what may have happened in this past seasons playoffs if they'd have had Lance to throw at The Beard.

Trading Matt Barnes for Lance Stephenson, is not a good trade. If the Clippers think Lance can play defense better than Barnes, then they are highly mistaken. Lance and his agent tricked the Hornets into giving him that silly contract worth over 10 million a year. However, this happens all the time in the NBA. Players will always go to a team that'll overpay for them and then production slips from that guy. Lance is better off going back to Indy than flying west to Cali. Frank Vogel knows how to use him better than most in this league.

Crawford's team option may get declined.
