Tastee is where lots of the old beat reporters(sports and regular), gamblers, old school all nighters, as well as noted Washingtonians - all rubbed elbows- and low key met to have a cuppa, food, and real ‘talk’ about sports, insider news and personal biz. It is the lone small owner biz still standing with Marriott Headquarters being built around it, as they refused to sell...

All that might change, given the ramifications of COVID closings on the little guys. I hope we don’t lose this classic diner in Bethesda... for yet another hoity-toity hipster joint that serves up quinoa and kale as its staple. That Diner has served multiple generations for multiple years... and been involved in gawd knows how many 3am shenanigans by all kids and adults of all ages...

I had no idea this diner would still exist after all these years. The owner and his/her family must be worth a fortune by now. I hope modernization doesn't bring this great business story to an end for a long time to come.

Hey, I've been to Glen Echo too! When I was a little kid my older cousin talked me into riding that rollercoaster there and it scared the s*** out of me. Is that amusement park still open?

Yes! But no more large pool or rollercoaster. Got a kick ass carousel, the old German style with the amazing music and animals. Beautiful! It’s been turned into an arts and crafts hub.

No one at the beginning of the season would have predicted this...even I, who we all know is wildly optimistic only predicted 6-7 wins... with no expectation of a playoff opportunity.

NFL continues to prove the best entertainment in sports!

I too predicted 6-10 as a final record.
I believe skinsdad predicted 3 wins.

Next year, after an offseason shoring up the offense, and addressing some holes on defense, I see real, actual contention for the NFC East title, as opposed to this year’s oddity.

You have to be happy with the team this yr . I think we are moving in the right direction , we evaluated what we need ,and can develop a plan .add to it we are playing for a playoff spot it’s a win/win for us
