That's fine. While I'm sure he wishes he'd won more, if winning was REALLY the motivating factor here, and not health, he would have left years ago.
you know I'm fucking with you, right ?

c'mon that's non-sense speak when stating he would have left years ago if winning was REALLY the motivating factor. not even you believe that post.
By thinking Calvin might play did the Pats? Join the club.
Not happening. You're dreaming.
I'm in the we should have cut him last year camp.Smitty the camp I'm in regarding Calvin is, he said he would do what it would take. Suh signed elsewhere, so what would restructuring his contract do?
If the Lions had signed Suh and then Calvin refused to restructure his deal. I would be pointing fingers too.
IMO, Suh was going to whatever team offered him the most money. Plain and simple. So unless Detroit wanted to give Suh a dollar more than Miami offered, restructuring made no sense for CJ
What a waste. And all for a guy who can't hang on to the ball when it matters. or even if it matters to him at all, anymore.
Why are you obsessed with Suh still? What does Calvin's contract have to do with Suh wanting to be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL?
If Suh wanted to be in Detroit, he would still be here. Not vastly overpaying him was one of the only smart things our front office did, IMO.
Lucky for us, we're out of future HOFers.
Oh. I hadn't heard that before.Smitty. You just said we don't have Suh because Calvin cost too much. When, in reality, we don't have Suh because Suh wanted to be the highest paid defensive player instead of the highest paid defensive tackle.
Why are you obsessed with Suh still?
This is CJ being gone. Suh already is gone. One future HOFer per season.
Lucky for us, we're out of future HOFers.
He is a great player, but to me, if he wanted to be in Detroit, he'd be here still
Who the fuck WANTS to be in Detroit? If you're the Detroit Lions you better over pay for the leagues best players when you have that rare opportunity. Or you end up with a half decade full of top 3 picks all over again.
