I'm going to go out on. Limb and say they probably didn't follow any protocols at all..

I think it was buffhockey550 who said that all casino employees had to wear masks, but the mask rule didn't apply to the patrons. Also, even if you eliminate 50% of the seats at a table, you are still within close proximity of someone who might be carrying the virus. Also, keep in mind that the main purpose of the mask is to stop you from shedding the virus, if somebody is close to you and they have COVID-19 and are not wearing a mask, there's a pretty good chance you're going to get it.

Plus the fact that Casinos are built to contain people as much as possible. They have sophisticated systems that ensure that people do not get a whiff of outside air, sunlight or a sense of time. They are designed to keep people there. They pump in scents, ozone and recirculate the air constantly.

all that plus the incessant manufactured noise makes people have to yell in each others faces in order to communicate ... heres a droplet for you!

not to mention casinos cater to a clientele that for the most part is older and less healthy and prone to other preexisting illnesses. At least most of them bring their own oxygen tanks on wheels :noidea: VEGAS BABY VEGAS !!!

Casinos are still closed up here btw

Don’t remember saying that and if I did I was wrong. Guests must wear masks unless actively drinking, eating or smoking. I’ve heard security is on the hunt for abuse and will ask people to leave if they don’t comply. Also, they won’t even let you in without a mask. This isn’t the same as going to Walmart or some other store, the casinos are BS’ing around. I think potential lawsuits are a big reason behind that.

BTW bars can reopen tomorrow at midnight so I’m sure case will be rising again in Clark County.

This was way back in early June and obviously a lot has changed since that time...

Glad to hear that they are taking things seriously, but not sure about how wise it is to be reopening bars.

We're going the wrong way...

Just passed by a bunch of lovely looking people outside the CDC in Vancouver holding signs like “the pandemic is a hoax” and “Out of out bedrooms Bonnie! Glory holes?”

I am of course outraged by this slander against the good name of glory holes.

Speaking of change, this is what the strip has become as a result of cheap hotels rooms, alcohol and a bunch of dumb asses.

Imagine getting a DUI on a fucking scooter rolling down the strip or in someone’s case, stabbed by a scooter rider. Gives drive by a new meaning.

The bulk of the people I know that liked my state's governor into his second term have since turned on him for not being Trump-like enough. I say second term because he seemed decent enough his first term. Hogan tends to do everything a current Republican would do (endorse Susan Collins) but speaks as if he is a more moderate. Oddly enough that does not seem to fool people on the fence, but does seem to alienate some of his original supporters.
