We passed 25 years in May, and had takeaway from our favorite steak restaurant. I haven't eaten in a restaurant since March when my son and I were in Detroit for a tournament. Not even fast food. Have had plenty of takeaway or delivery. Don't really miss it, actually.

And it's encouraged me to cook more at home.

Indoor dining here was just shut down again starting Friday. Good move.

Our Chinese takeout joint has done exactly that. They custom-fitted a wood-supported plexiglass wall that goes above the normal takeout counter. They have a two way microphone set up so you can place your orders and then when the food is ready there's a little box in the plexiglass wall that they open from the back and slide the food into, then you open from the front to take the food out.

It's pretty impressive really.

I am not sure what the big deal about mask wearing is. I am wearing two masks with a small layer of potpourri in between the two. It is delightful! Not only does everything smell great but colors seem brighter and my mood is fantastic.

I just got back from the doctor. Don't do this ^. Apparently I was suffering from light oxygen deprivation. That's why colors seemed vivid and my mood was good.
