Not quite as serious as a brain tumour obviously, but a work colleague of mine was scheduled to go for hip surgery this past Monday and was informed that her surgery was postponed due to the COVID-19 surge.

There are about to be a lot of decent job openings, apparently.

One I'm laughing at pretty hard is the ATU Local in Toronto that covers TTC operators. I don't know why people who come in close contact daily with thousands of people wouldn't want it but those jobs are cushy as hell and you'd basically have to run over the mayor to get fired.

I mentioned how at Mrs 43's school there was one family who all had some kind of condition and have "medical exemptions" from wearing masks at school. Whatever it is, it is spreading. There are now two other families whose kids all have the same exact condition, and presumably the same doctor. One are the cousins of the first family. The other lives directly across the street from the first family.

I think we need Dr Fauci to get on this emerging medical crisis.
